Art Macabre, purveyors of life drawing with a deathly twist, present a special event in collaboration with the Freud Museum. Explore and draw the complex web of emotions associated with these two states of loss, and their links to depression. Nude and veiled models will pose throughout the museum, presenting poetic tableaux and symbols portraying absence and loss. Draw their presence and explore ideas of negative space and absence through your sketches too. With poetry readings by William Blake and quotes from Freud's essay "Mourning and Melancholia" published 100 years ago.
